"Faith in a Seed" is a collection of previously unpublished writings by Henry David Thoreau, primarily focusing on nature, ecology, and the philosophy of natural succession. This collection was compiled and edited by Bradley P. Dean and was published in 1993. It mainly consists of Thoreau's late-life botanical and ecological observations, particularly on how trees and plants disperse seeds, regenerate forests, and sustain ecosystems.
