It's often done as a way for individuals to leave their mark on a particular location. It's a form of self-expression and a way for people to inform others of their presence in that particular space. So. Trailblazers can say that they were flying at a particular spot in the Xianzhou Luofu, generally unreachable by normal means... Too bad we can't graffiti them.
