‘Terminus’ refers to a final point in spacetime. This could be seen as the point of arriving at the end of the Simulated Universe after having encountered all the different types of beacons. ‘Terminus’ is also the Aeon of Finality, but this does not seem to be related to the achievement. Also a reference to the planet Terminus in the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. A backwater planet located at the edge of the galaxy, majority of Terminus' population are scientists whose true purpose is to preserve all of human knowledge during the predicted 1,000 years of chaos. - Credit: Necrosyrtes
