"I Call Upon _____" is a rather common phrase in the Orphic Hymns. "I Call Upon Eternal Dawn" references LXXVII. To Aurora [Eos]. This hymn is reminiscent of Okhema, the holy city forever bathed in sunlight, as shown in two of the lines: "Hear me, O Goddess! whose emerging ray leads on the broad refulgence of the day; Blushing Aurora [Eos], whose celestial light beams on the world with red'ning splendours bright:"
