Reference
Both the English and Chinese titles are puns for "Ice cream." The English, "Ice Grim," is just referring to how trash (something the raccoon is obsessed with) would be a rather forbidding or uninviting treat to get from the frozen trash can. The Chinese title, 冰圾淋 (bīng jī lín), when broken down equals ice (bīng), trash or garbage (jī), and to drench or pour liquid over (lín). It sounds familiar to the Chinese translation for ice cream, which is 冰淇淋 (bīng qí lín), where 淇 (qí) is an element of the word used phonetically.
