Reference
Probably a reference to the Chinese idiom, "Like a wolf or a tiger," which means to be as ferocious, mighty, and/or brave as a wolf or a tiger. It comes from Wei Liaozi: Wu Yi, saying: "一人之兵,如狼似虎,如风如雨,如雷如霆,震震冥冥,天下皆惊。" It roughly translates to: "One man's army is like a wolf or a tiger, like wind or rain, like thunder or lightning, shaking the heavens and earth, shocking the whole world."
