Interrogate Kafka with the Matrix of Prescience...

Reference

The idiom 善易不卜 (lit. people who are well-versed in Yi do not predict) originated from the Analects, an ancient philosophical text composed of Confucius' teaching and ideas. In context, Yi Jing / I Ching (Book of Changes) was the classic divination text with deep-rooted influence in Chinese culture, which was said to be so profound that anyone who fully comprehended it could understand all matters in the world (therefore they don’t need to predict). It draws parallel to how the diviners of the Xianzhou work: their Matrix of Prescience is actually a supercomputer which calculates results through real data, and doesn't involve any superstition like the word "divination" suggested. Note: different scholars interpreted this quote in different ways, because that’s how classic Chinese language works — they need a whole commentary book just to explain a single page. - Credit: Necrosyrtes
