A reference to dice mechanics in DnD. A natural 20 is a critical hit, a natural 1 is a critical failure, and the numbers in between are a sort of middle ground of neither critical hits or misses. Standard rolls, if you will. Since dice rolls in DnD usually range from 1 to 20, a natural 0 isn't possible in the traditional sense. In the context of the chive, a natural 0 would be something so perfectly null or balanced, not existing on the spectrum, that it doesn't tip in any direction. So perfectly aligned that there is no room for error — no highs or lows. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
