The End of Eternity is a 1955 science fiction novel (adapted into a movie by 1987) written by the prominent 20th century American science fiction author Isaac Asimov. It is a time travel story centered around efforts of the Eternity organization, who exist outside time and want to create a causal time loop that ensures their organization foundation will be created in the past and thus exist in the future, their present.
