A Thousand Words at Death's Door

A reference to the movie A Thousand Words (the Chinese version of the film and chive's name roughly translates to a variant of the chive's English version: A Thousand Words Before Death's Door). It's a dramedy film following the story of Jack McCall (Eddie Murphy), a selfish literary agent who is punished by Dr. Sinja. Jack is tied to a tree with a thousand leaves, and for every word he speaks, a leaf falls off. If the last leaf falls off, Jack dies.
