The Earth Is Quivering

Missing, extremely new, or very obvious to obtain.

Probably a reference to the 1948 Italian neorealist film "La Terra Trema", directed, co-written, and produced by Luchino Visconti. It's set in a small Sicilian fishing village of Aci-Treza, where the Valastra family continue the village's long fishing tradition. Tensions mount when Antonio Valastra returns from war and alienates some of the villagers with suggestions for altering working habits. When he challenges the fishing merchants, he is arrested and jailed, but not before impressing many of the villagers who also long for change.
