"Speak, Memory" is a memoir written by Vladimir Nabokov. The first 12 chapters are about Nabokov's happy childhood in an aristocratic family living in St. Petersburg, Russia. The remaining 3 are about his years as a student at Cambridge University and as a writer in the Russian émigré communities of Berlin and Paris.
